Nitro at the strip !
Our long-time buckethead, Walt "Nitro" Rosenberg, recently showed 'em what T-buckets are all about at the local drag strip . . .

What was the track length? 1/8. That isn't much speed for 5 second ET. But it has been 15 years since I ran at the strip.

Swampy, here's what Walt posted:
"I won the E/T Final with a hole shot. 1/16 mile drag strip with a 5.000 second index."
PS - I was impressed by the reaction time . . . pretty good for a 'mature' gentleman!!!

AW, 1/16 makes sense.
I built a junior dragster (330 Outlaw) that would run in the 4.30's with 60 footers at 1.33 seconds. those were 330 runs, 1/16 mile. Speeds were approaching 80 MPH. It was an outlaw class as the NHRA/IHRA had speed limits. This was with a 13 year old driving. RPM just be glad you didn't get mixed up in the Heads up outlaw class.
