Safety Day 2022
St Louis Chapter will hold its annual Safety Day cruise-in at the home of Butch and Tina Reeves, Saturday April 16. This is the kick-off for the Spring cruising season, so put away the car covers and polish up the ol' bucket!

Spanky,
I may have asked you this before, but do you use a checklist when doing the inspection? If so, please send me a copy.
Thanks!

Re: Safety Day 2022
No, we really don't. But Punkun is a former NSRA Safety Inspector, and he can look over anyone's bucket and tell what is safe and what isn't. Most of the guys are driving older builds that have been thoroughly road tested (not like the early days when everyone's car was pretty new), but any new cars will get a thorough going over by lots of pairs of eyes.

Re: Safety Day 2022
It would sure be nice if one or more of you knowledgeable builders/safety inspectors would put together a safety checklist just for T-Buckets! I can volunteer to document and maintain your thoughts, but I do not have the knowledge to build the list.
Thoughts?

Mark, about 5 years ago you shared the following with me when you and Laurie were in St Louis. Remember?

Spanky,
I do remember that, which is great for nuttin' and boltin', but I was looking for something more!

Re: Safety Day 2022
Look at NSRA inspection check list. Should be close to what is needed.
Mine won't pass that inspection. More than I failure because I don't belong to the NSRA and have no intention to abide by their rules.
See my above post and answer the question what. Are/should the consequences be from the NTBA or Chapter. Ostracized ?
