Coil over shocks

Hey guys, newbie Shank here. Here comes the first of I'm sure a bunch of questions. I'm doing coils on all for corners, with a 4 bar set-up. I have seen that the most common weight of coil shocks are 160# and 250#. So the question is which ones and what corners? I'm going to be 110"-115" WB, small block w/auto train. Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to put the 250's up front and the 160's on the rear. Are the shocks adjustable or are they standard- 50/50?

If you have not gotten them yet, the lighter the rate with a longer spring on the shock is WAY more adjustable and easier to setup your ride.
I put 225# on the front and 110# on the back of the last bucket on #7 shocks on both ends! the guy that I built it for put a 302/auto in it and ran quite a few rallies with it.
It cornered SO Sweet and rode Very comfy, Even for a Bucket!

Thanks all, I havent bought any yet. I will be shopping this weekend, im trying to locate all of the rod shops in Phoenix area. I find its easier to put my hands on a part rather than look at it on a computer. Besides, I dont like to wait for UPS. LOL!!!!!

Quite a few things factor into what springs to get. Go on the speedway site and look at their coilovers. somewhere in there is a printout chart that tells you how to calculate what spring rate you need, i.e, car weight, shock angle, length of shock, length of extension movement, etc. I bet the 250's will be too stiff. I say that because 250 is what I had to get for the rear of my 31 Ford Coupe - noticeably heavier than my bucket. Anyway, find that chart and it will probably help you quite a bit.
