Trailer wows
Every time we stop for gas I walk around the trailer just to check things. During a stop just outside of Rolla MO I noticed one of the trailer tires had cord showing thru the tread. Drove another 20 miles to the motel we planned to stop at and went to change the tire. That is when I found out my jack wouldn't handle the trailer with the T-Bucket in it so had to unstrap the car and back it out. Changed the tire. Got home yesterday around 4:00 pm. The wear on the trailer tire I changed looked weird so I took it down to a trailer service shop this morning and they found the spindle was bent. The spare I had put on yesterday, brand new tire, was also shot after just 500 miles. Had to order new axle and with labor ... $500 dollars. Stopped at the tire store and ordered 4 new tires and that was another $400 ... sure glad Joyce won the 50/50 ...
... it helps offset some of the cost.

I switched to 10 ply radials 5 years ago and have been lucky ever since. Was buying at least one tire per year prior.
