Hey Mike, it says in the ad " professional installation suggested " and " no installation instuctions included". Are you sure an old geezer like you can handle that or will you need lot's of help from folks on this site. Angel could have them on in 30 minutes with Peggy Sues help. Seriously, you would still need the collectors as someone pointed out. Maybe that's where the big bucks come into play. See you next weekend !!!!!!

Mount made, next is to modify steering shaft for new U-joint and make new drag link.

Installation complete, I will do the test run today.
Everything went well,I like the look of the rack.

I can tell you the difference between the two, as well as Toolman and Vroom Krazy..there is NO slop that there is in the Corvair box d despite what a "certain person" says in the NTBA and on the NTBA FB page...there is NO need to adjust the Unisteer once it is installed. My old Corvair box was that...old. I replaced the bearings in it a few times over the course of ownership and after seeing Toolman's steering Lenoir, that had me sold.

There are only TWO adjustments after installation of the Unisteer...that being the jam nuts on the drag link. On the Corvair box, I had to fabricate a very small wrench to be able to adjust the Vair box because it was so tight up against the pig C6 tranny. There was slop in the box and play in the steering wheel..always even since DAY ONE of my buying the bucket that was RED in color and had a "me too" engine in it.

With the Unisteer...there is NO slop. It is tight and the bucket steer like a go kart....literally. I wouldn't have anything else in a bucket. but this is only MY opinion. Ask Toolman or VroomKrazy what they think of the "half rack," if my assessment is not good enough for you.

Just drove in from the run! And I will have to get used to the tight steering! As said no play anywhere!
So far my consensus is thumbs up!!

I added my steering after NATS last year. Works excellent, would not go back to a box set up
