Another year has come and gone and I again find myself working at getting ready for the glorious gathering of buckets this spring at my house. Even though this is posted as a Friday Saturday event, I will again have my shop open for anyone that wants to use my lift Thursday 5-24 to inspect their car. Dennis and I have been talking ideas for the Friday 5-25 cruise and will firm up what we are going to do as it gets closer. I know this, we will spend the majority of the day enjoying the Ozarks countryside and having lunch while out. Of course the NSRA is going on in Springfield the same weekend, so some may want to go cruise Glenstone in Springfield Friday night. Saturday morning there will be bench racing at my place or time to go to the NSRA event at the fairgrounds in Springfield. We'll probably have the pits burning most of the day, with dinner of burgers and brats planed for around 5:00. Most that don't come out that morning will show up by around 3. Sunday is open for NSRA and to start the travels homeward. I will soon be in touch with the Super 8 in Strafford to firm up rate and will post rates and contact information then. I look forward to seeing everyone again this year!

LOL, I was just thinking about this as I lay in bed this morning planning my day ahead of the Stupor Bowl. I realized I haven't made any hotel reservations for the T events I'm going to this year, and then I wondered whether you (JB) had made arrangements with Rima yet. You must have felt the vibes from my deep thinking. I'll watch for your announcement that the hotel arrangements are made.

I didn't have a chance to check rates this year, but from memory they have been $25/ night for full hook ups.
This RV park is next door to the motel, but if there is any desire, I'll check with about RV's parking in the motel lot.

If it stays dry enough, I will also have a limited amount of parking at my place for RV's. Let me know if you want to try that.
If any one has problems with the RV park, there is another halfway between my place and the motel I can check on too.

It's getting closer guys. Haven't shown my face much, but trust me I'm getting things ready. Dennis and I just did a prerun and I think everyone will loves this years cruise. I weather holds we have a longer run planned for Friday this year. 95 miles one way, but with plenty of stops to stretch our legs. For those of you that made the first couple of years, we are going back to Red Oak 2 this year, but stopping to eat along the way there this time. New roads and much better scenery. For those that haven't been there, Google it, I think you'll love all the photo ops.
