I've seen a few of those in my day. Just for grins, do a Youtube search for slow-mo top fuel launches. You get to watch the exhaust pulses banging out of the headers, the chassis flex from nose to tail, the wings rattle under the hard launch. There's a lot going on in that firs 1/2 second.
