If you look on the 2021 schedule, you’ll see The Tucson T’s Fun Run, October 21-23. Jeff Hall is one of the hosts, Jeff@bowtee.com. Chris Ward is the Secretary of the NTBA and President of the Arizona T’s, but at the moment do not have any scheduled events. Hope to see you and your new T in both Nationals in Townsend, Tennessee and in Tucson in October.

I'm not going to argue with you but I've been on this forum since 2016 (Under a different name) and I know there is no chapter here. In fact I was asked to reactivate Arizona way back in 2017. Both the Arizona and Central Arizona have not had a post since 2016 /2017, except for a few by ME back in 2017

As for the Tucson chapter and the Fun Run... as posted elsewhere...

This was posted on FB yesterday & I thought it would be good to put it on here........

Cynthia Jones

I would like to take this opportunity to clear up any gossip, false truths, etc. As a past officer of this chapter (secretary) I took all the notes and am in the know as to why we decided to disband.
1. NO one is responsible for the Southern Arizona chapter to disband. It was voted on by the very few members left to do so due to lack of interest, deaths, members selling their T's, etc.
2. When these sort of things get out of hand it is a sad day. Be careful what you say when you don't know the truth.
3. We still get together for runs and gatherings. There are very few of us left in Tucson that have our buckets and still drive them,
Let me repeat, NO ONE PERSON is responsible for this chapter to close down as it was a collective decision on the members that were left. We were sorry to do this but as explained above it just could not go on as it was.

We still love the Arizona Fun Run.......Thanks Cindy..... :)! :)! :)! :)! :)! :)!
So, IF Jeff Hall in active and in Arizona your member database needs serious work, and...
If Chris Ward is still a member and active, your database needs to be remeved and the job given to someone who can keep it updated.

Ed,
Around 1999/2000 Fred started the Fred’s fun run with the Tucson T’s. (Correct me Fred if I’m wrong on those dates), up until 2015.
2015 Fred’s FunRun November 6-7, 2015. Tucson, AZ.
2016 Arizona T’s fun run November 3-5
2017 Tucson fun run November 3-4 (this event got moved to Sierra Vista)
2018 Southern Arizona Sierra Vista fun run November 2-3
2019 no Arizona run because Nationals were hosted in Prescott, June 12-15. By the Arizona T buckets.
2020 no events because of COVID
2021 Tucson T’s Fun Run scheduled October

Now, after 2015 the Tucson T’s went through stages of staying together and then disbanding, around 2017. Your copied post from Mike Wade referring to Cynthia Jones was made in 2017.
As of today, Chris Ward officially made the Arizona T’s a chapter (with President,VP, and Secretary). Their update may not be on the chapter website page. The Tucson T’s Jeff Hall and Dennis Eldred, have resurrected the club but have not officially brought it back as a chapter,... yet.
Your are posting under Central Arizona T’s and are welcome to bring that chapter back to life. There are a lot of guys in the Phoenix area to contact. Also, as Lee explained you were just admitted to the NTBA and did not have access to current contact information. Under the home page Chris Ward is listed as the NTBA Secretary (440tbucket@cox.net). Jeff Hall (Jeff@bowtee.com) and Lynn Eldred (lynns23t@gmail.com) have moved back to the Tucson area and are hosting the Tucson event in October.
I have been a member of the NTBA since 2011. I became the Vice President of the NTBA in 2015, and the President in 2017. Since 2017 I have been working with the Arizona folks setting up these events, as well as all other events.
As per your sarcasm towards me from your previous post, you are entirely correct, you are not going to argue with me.

Bruce, I... and any other member, can only go by what is posted on the forums and the data in the members list (which I have had access to before paying my $35). According to the information contained on the NTBA site the 2 Arizona chapters have had no activity (Official or otherwise) since 2017.
I have since found "Past events" thread which does list ONE event for Arizona per year ... for 2018 at least, I didn't look further back..., but again, NO mention of this event in the AZ chapter page.
If there is only 1 event per year, shut down the chapter. There should be at least 12 meetings and 6 events per year. Summer in Arizona is too hot for more. Just for your information, from previous experience, organizing an event is no big deal.

Saturday 23rd you said...
There are two chapters in Arizona, the Tucson T’s, and the Arizona T’s.
Now, today, Monday 25th, you say...
As of today, Chris Ward officially made the Arizona T’s a chapter (with President,VP, and Secretary).
So when I first posted Jan 15th asking how to reactivate a chapter, and Jan 17th asking for people interested to post, there was NO AZ chapter and I was correct.

Since there was no active AZ chapter I thought I'd reactive it.
With my first query about reactivating the "Central Arizona" chapter, before posting any such intentions, I received a PM and subsequent email from a member who has been active for a while but also thought the Arizona chapter was dead and wanted it reactivated. He suggested that he knew others who would like an active AZ chapter. So with zero effort there is the 3 members required and potentially many more, but nothing was going to happen if someone doesn't get off their chair and do something. I stepped forward. Since there apparently is (Now, after I stirred the nest) already an AZ chapter I guess my intentions are not welcome.

No argument or sarcasm from me.

This discussion and my suggestion to reactive the "Central Arizona" Chapter is closed.
