to post a photo of the LGSM as my avatar and having NO luck. I have gone to Lee for assistance and he tried everything under the sun to post the photo, to no avail. Lee apologized to me and his apologies were making me feel bad, but he told me he would buy me a cheese burger and root beer to make up for it. Sure he will. The way things are going with fuel prices, that may be a VERY LONG WHILE. By that time, the burger will be produced from plants. This is why I was seeking the where abouts of Todd last month, thinking if anyone can assist me, it would be Todd.

If anyone else on here can figure out how to d this for me, I would be forever greatful...or is that grateful? Hmmmmm

Yes I did Windy and then I handed my info off to Lee and even he was stumped. I just finally gave up. And I DID appreciate all that Lee tried to help me with. This was the reason I was seeking Todd Mullins, thinking maybe he knew of the secret handshake that could get my mug shot on the leader board.

I tried the profile page, but difficult to shrink down when there is nothing to shrink down....and let's not go there because it's shrunk enough. Never mind, south St. Louis humor.

I clicked on a photo from my photo file and then played around with it after reading the directions and still nada. And then of course I do NOT know how to make the photo smaller. you fellas live on this machine or have to use it for work, I don't do either. I WILL be the first to ADMIT, that I am computer illiterate. So often I go begging for help.

Luggy - we can try this online if you want. Let's start by asking when you save a photo on your device, where does it end up? I save mine as a "paint" file labeled "Images" and then into a folder such as "NTBA" or "St Louis Chapter" or whatever. Then, I can go to that folder, find the photo I want and select it. Then I look for the "Edit" command, and click on it. It gives me choices to crop the photo, rotate it, or resize it. I hit resize, and then it asks me what size I want as a percentage of the original (50%, 25%, etc.) If I look down at the bottom of the photo I see dimensions for the photo as number of pixels. The photo I'm looking at for this example is 1915 x 1601 px. My profile edit screen on the NTBA site says that my avatar can be no more than 120 px each direction. So If I shrink the original down to 6%, it will be 115 px x 97 px which will fit under the 120 x 120 max (1915 x .06 = 115; 1601 x .06 = 97). I save this resized photo as "Avatar" in my gallery and upload it to my profile by selecting "choose file" and locating the pic I labeled as "Avatar." That should result in the little bitty photo you resized showing up in your avatar whenever you post.

I know you will find this humorous, but I am just now seeing your post. I have not been on here for a variety of reasons, I cannot tell you of all the reasons other than one is that I have been busy felling trees on my property and the other main reason is doctors frown on folks taking laptops into the operating room; but main reason is that I am getting ready for the upcoming winter, ya know due to that dreaded "climate change" shit, it's going to get cold and snowy up here in da tundra. The other reasons I will NOT delve into because I don't want to have to explain myself to the weak one.

I keep my photos in Chrome or something like that, hell I think it's called the cloud. As I have mentioned before and I am NOT ashamed to say so, I am computer illiterate. Do I want to learn more? HELL NO! All I want to do for my "final" hurrah on here, well that and get a full sized photo of the LGSM with Lisa and myself along side of the car. Then my "last HURRAH will be complete.

So I need to go where my photos are and see if I can edit them...okay I will do just that. I guess if I can't shrink them down this way, then I will have to get a really small camera and take a photo of the car. Let's see if this works. Thanks.

never mind....A very good friend of mine, who is a member of the NTBA emailed me this morning and helped me with my issue. I will attempt adding an avatar picture in a little bit. Golly gee whiz and thanks to everyone who emailed me and offered their assistance. You guys are really swell!
