I agree, we pay 1800.00 per year for the website and they do not use it very often.

Re: Where all the old regulers?
Hey doc......I used to come on here quite often, but it seemed I was the only one here and I got tired of typing to myself. I agree and it is sad to say, if no one is going to be posting on here, why have the damn thing? Sure isn't like the old days is it? This used to be a hustle and bustle of things going on within the bucket community, but no longer. seems Face book has taken over. I just posted my thoughts over on Face Book, now let's see if i get a rise out of anyone. Prolly not.
So doc, how ya been? We're doing fine over here and "hoping" to get the bucket in it's final paint BEFORE March. I plan on driving to the Nats in Mtn. Home in June but also plan on driving to Springfield, Mo. for the NSRA event. Been wanting to do that trip for the last 4-5 years.
I decided upon returning from Dayton, Ohio to do some body work on the bucket. We went ahead and frenched in the license plate along with the '50 Pontiac tail lights. The tail lights are sunk in about 4" but are LED equipped and brother...they ARE darn bright! Also doing some cowl wrok...there was a dip in the cowl, so we're building that up. Still trying to select the colors....the bottom WILL be GREEN, not yet certain about the top color. No flames or graphics of any sort this last time around...two tone with a contrasting break line color.
I will make a deal with you doc, you come on here more often and I will as well...hell if all that is on here is you and I, then that's the way it will be. Hope you have a great 2014!

p.s. webmaster...we NEED a "thumbs-up" smilie

I'm still here! I just don't "BBS" much anymore... not enough time. A friend emailed you post to me so I would see it. Happy New Year!

Re: Where all the old regulers?
Good morning Al and Curt. Two names I haven't seen in quite sometime. Hope you both have been well. So Al, since no one ever comes on this site any longer....you should post your thoughts here, no need to do the "MOBBS".
I would have posted "more", but I figure what I did on here as well as FB should get a rise out of folks. Of course you'll have guys/gals saying, "well it's so much easier to post comments and photos to Face book." Well then IF this is the issue, then we as a membership should be taking this up with the webmaster. Bill Darr states that he too has trouble posting photos....as did I for a while, heck things may have changed as i haven't posted a photo on here in a long time...I will attempt this before I sign off.
So no one has any time to post here??? Seems to be many posting over on FB.
Anyone have any new builds going on? Any new upgrades? Any thoughts on going back to Mtn.Home? Good to see Pat Anderson posting again. Anyone know how George Barnes is doing...haven't read about him for some time. I imagine he's up to his eyeballs in making parts for Pete & Jakes. How has Tim Taylor been? Sure would like to see this site get back to being busy again.
Curt, there is "always" time. Best make time for all that we miss NOW, as later on will be too late. This site used to keep us all together until the next Nationals. Forget Face book. Okay, I know I'm beating a dead Camaro, but let's get this site back up.
Perhaps there cold be some sort of "self-help" posting on here as to how to "re-size" photos for those of us who are NOT computer savvy. so the photo I just tried posting is too large and I have no clue what size IS acceptable nor how to even size the photo down.

Re: Where all the old regulers?
Luggy use irfanView to resize photos or photobucket either one works well..........O' by the way I check here a couple times a day and post some photos from time to time......
and I send almost every member a letter once a year...LOL....so I hope your posting gets folks going again here.....
I agree that it would be nice to just post a photo with one click but I don't think that is going to happen here and three clicks ain't that hard to do anyway......Ask Ceec and T Pilot how long I was on the phone helping them post photos on this site?.............my .02 and it may not be worth that much........

Re: Where all the old regulers?
I check in almost everyday. not doing anything to the T right now spending most of my time taking care of Diana she finally had her reconstructive surgery Nov.25 and is not allowed to put any weight on her left foot till probably mid February. She hasn't walked since Sept of 2012 I am hoping she will be able to climb in the bucket this summer as she hasn't had a ride in it since before Dayton. I bit the bullet and am having my 41 Plymouth completely disassembled, sanded to bare metal , painted, and put back together. I am also restoring a Shasta 1500 in my spare time.
I also miss the posts on here if it wasn't for Mike W and one or two others this site would be dead. Luggy I even miss you as you are hardly ever are here anymore. Let all try to do better.

Been there, done that, hope to live long enough to do it all again.

Re: Where all the old regulers?
We had made plans to go to Tenn. this past July but had to cancel because Diana's surgery was to be that Monday but it got canceled. So we missed seeing people there, we were going to drive the sedan and leave the bucket home but even that plan turn to ****. Another year or two of this and I am going to sell everything.
Been there, done that, hope to live long enough to do it all again.

Re: Where all the old regulers?
I look every day and sometimes twice a day. Just a idea, how about buying a program to post pictures as simple as Craigslist or Facebook. Its not like there isn't plenty of money in the bank account. I know the NTBA site can be a great tool and tons of FUN for all of members, non-members and lookers. Site isn't complete, not finished yet. Where are all the lists of T Bucket pictures ? Don (old web master) did a great job of running the old site. Sure it had its moments, but it had lots of activity and he loved it. We all were sold on the idea about how great a NEW site will be. OK great make it GREAT. weelstang X NTBA President
