IPAD

Post by Mike Myers »

Ted,

This site looks horrible when viewing it from an IPAD. Is there a setting that can be changed for this? Apparently some of us are to lazy, mainly me, to go to the basement to get on the computer when they can stay upstairs and get on the IPAD via wifi.

The display shows two people all over the screen and the screen gets smaller which looks like it is sitting on another page of background blue t buckets.

Makes it extremely difficult to view any message board. Thanks for looking into it.

Not sure what the problem is, but it may be on your end.... we just had it tested with an I Pad 1 and apparently it works fine.... don't now anything about I stuff, but we did also test on a Mac Book Pro... the latest version and it worked fine on that as well

Anyone else out there with an IPad that can help shed some light on this issue? ...Ted

It looks fine on my iPad. Try turning your iPad sideways it might help. Sorry this works great for me.

I am not sure if I had in landscape or portrait mode. I will try portrait mode when I get back. It worked a few days ago and was messed up last night. I am using an IPAD 3.

Will let you know if that fixes it. Thanks.

Thanks Mike... if it worked a couple of days ago, it should work now... we have not made any format changes.... Landscape or portrait should be as easy as as rotating the pad 090 degrees... Ted

IPAD 3 works fine today both portrait and landscape. The car the other night that was all over is the one from central Florida section of the chapter section. Maybe I logged on at the right time when it was updating or something.

Websites usually sense the type of hardware visiting a page. They then format accordingly. If you use your iPhone, iPad or other mobile device, you will usually see an address like this: m.somedomainname.com They create a subdomain m which has the pages/code for mobile devices. Our webmistress might consider that in the future when she isn't tweaking the new site.
