2015 T-bucket Nationals in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Post by Lugnut »

WATCH THIS SPACE FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION...................coming very soon to a screen near you. :)

Contract has been signed; discussions with the Chamber of Commerce as well as the Visitor's Tourist Information department and one Police Department have taken place on Friday. I still need to contact the Green Bay Police Department along with the Brown County Sheriff's Department.

Yesterday we drove up to Door County and I garonetee everyone will enjoy the ride. :-) Ask Rolla what he and Deb thought about it. :)!

Pretty much have Wednesday afternoon to Saturday mapped out. We only have one day scheduled which will be an all day affair in as far as kroozing goes, and the length can be decided by each individual. This will be discussed at the driver's meeting that morning. Wednesday evening we plan on "invading" A&W on Velp Avenue in Green Bay, as we have "cruise night" EVERY Wednesday from April to end of October. Thursday will be the krooze up to Door County, Friday will be a surprise and will be discussed at a later date. ;-) And Saturday is laid out as well.

We will have a list posted in the coming week of things to do while up here, for those arriving early or for those of you who do not want to do the Door County krooze.

Also checked out the campground sites...both of them. One site, which is the Brown County Fairgrounds, is about 2 miles or so from the host hotel and has 36 sites with water/electric; the other RV site is 14 miles away and nestled in the woods....and it too is very nice, but again, it is 14 miles away.

The "host" hotel does NOT take pets, but We have lined up three hotels that are all two blocks from the host hotel and these hotels take pets. More on this later as well.

Anywho...stay tuned for further information. Lisa and I DO look forward to seeing all of you up here in Green Bay, Wisconsin for the 2015 National T-Bucket Alliance Nationals! :)!

The trailer posing area is going to be really nice and VERY accessible for those putting their cars away during the evening. Overall it's going to be a great event...and "VINCE" told me he WILL control the weather on that entire week.

Does that mean that we can start booking our rooms now?

You CAN begin booking your rooms now, but I suggest you wait until Rolla gets everything posted in regards to ALL the available hotels/rooms/rates. That way there will be no questions, well at least questions asked two or three times.

Again,I MUST reiterate...for those who smoke, there is "NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN ANY FACILITY IN ALL OF WISCONSIN"....if you choose to smoke, you WILL do it outside.

Room rates for Da Tundra Lodge are $99.00 and mention the NTBA/National T-Bucket Alliance for JULY 2015!

I looked over the Brown Fairgrounds and I suppose you have NOT talked to them, just let us know they are there.....I don't have a problem with a drive up 32 to the hotel and I can have my dog with me........Let me know if you have talked to the Parks before I do in the next day or two.....

....Thanks for your work setting up a reason for me to come see the Tundra you live in, now just make sure I have FUN up there...................No bad weather either...... :)! :)! :)!

Mike,

Rolla had a long discussion with one of the Rangers there while I was sitting in the truck and we WILL have info on this as well. Do NOT call anyone regarding the RV parks until we post info as Rolla will have the correct phone numbers as well as contact names.

As I said, the one park is 14 miles from the host hotel. It is nice and nestled in the woods. You might want to stock up on OFF! or DEEP WOODS should you decide to stay there.

The Brown County Fairgrounds on the other hand is but a mere 6 minute or 3.1 miles from the host hotel. The fairgrounds lies along the Fox River so if you choose to fish for your supper....there ya go, but we locals KNOW better than to eat fish from that river. It is clean, but .......

By the way, there ARE trees on the fairgrounds property, just not as many as in the woods at the Bayshore Park RV site.

You WILL have a great time up here Mike...lots to do. As I said in one of my earlier posts, "Vince" has told me we WILL have great weather. Of course he and I WILL have this conversation again next year.

Ah, Luggy . . . weather being nice is just a bonus for real bucketheads; they'll have fun, rain or shine! (Remember Branson 2?)

I don't fish and I don't mind 3.1 miles if I am going to cruise about 500 miles or more the whole week anyhow.......... rain is just something I have never experienced in a Bucket....Ha Ha Ha......Now if you believe that, I got this great bridge to the west from LA.......

Great, now is it time to start the trip yet??????.......I am ready.......... :)! :)!
