nice project.. i like the fist pic of the frame.. has a mirror image or a reflection of work bench.. that's gonna be neat and engine sitting in mid air.. keep em coming..

I did build the crane but I have no plans. they cut up a painting cart at work and no one wanted the paint covered tube so I took it and then I found a cheap piece of 4x4 3/8 wall tube and kind of just threw it together.

3/4 square tubing bent to each side a small bit then covered with .080 Aluminum....I think you could turn upside down and it would hold up.......



Then made some 3/4 wood strips to tack the cloth too some day.....



Underneath I put some dynamat for deadening and less heat......



I have some other photos if you want them........I sometimes like a little overkill .....

Remember that top will a slope to the sides and to the front so the vinyl Mr Ford used would drain better......the door windows are shorter in the front than the back, don't ask me how I know for sure..........

u are so correct.. the build was always fun for me.. but had to keep thinking 3 steps ahead so i didn't have to fall 4 steps back with a mistake.. it'll keep u thinking for sure
